Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Impact Assessment
The Disaster Resilience Leadership Academy (DRLA) provides mission support to the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services and to the Interagency Workgroup for Community Supports, particularly in the development and implementation of a framework and data integration to assess the impact of the oil spill on coastal communities and to perform a gap analysis that will inform recommendations for State response to this crisis. DRLA collaborates closely with the Louisiana Public Health Institute and the Louisiana Health Sciences Psychiatry Department in the development and implementation of this framework. This project is funded by the Louisiana Department of Social Services.
