The Disaster Resilience Leadership Academy was established to systematically strengthen leadership globally in disaster resilience through training, education and research. The Academy aims to improve the science and practice of disaster resilience leadership through an interdisciplinary approach that will be a premier source of information for world leaders in this area. This program is unique in its global reach, systems approach, and its emphasis on providing current and future disaster management and humanitarian leaders with the analytical tools they need to effectively lead robust, effective and efficient interventions. This project is funded by the US Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA).
