FORTHCOMING: DRLA will review how “PROTECT” was developed, focusing on leadership decisions and actions in the various stages of development “PROTECT”.

Recognizing that H1N1 is not as severe as originally feared, the Australian Government announced on June 17, 2009 that it had developed a new response phase to manage the outbreak of H1N1 called “PROTECT”.  This new phase is an amendment to the Australian Health Management Plan for Pandemic Influenza written in 2008 and is situated between the “CONTAIN” and “SUSTAIN” phases.  DRLA will review how “PROTECT” was developed, focusing on leadership decisions and actions in the various stages of development “PROTECT”.
